Goodbye to Netflix and goodbye to Spotify.
Goodbye to NowTV and goodbye to Amazon Prime.
Goodbye to school runs and piano lessons.
Even the PlayStation has gone into storage!
There’s been a lot of goodbyeing to friends too. Some of them heading off on their own summer adventures.
We’ve been humbled by the kind words, advice, votes of confidence in our (yet unproven) ability to roadschool and the offers of support that have come from everyone.
Whilst at the same time encouraged seeing them trying to eat and drink their way through the half bottles of spirits and nearly empty cupboards in our house.
With a week to go, we’re making a last ditch efforts to clear the sediment from our garage and loft, which means if you drive past our place there’s a good chance they’ll be some free stuff left on the kerbside…help yourself.
We’re into the last cut of the grass, last haircuts (here anyway), last home shopping deliveries. Completed our tax returns, changed the tyres and MOT’d the Camper. Pretty much finished the ‘job-list’ we’d written ourselves. Blimey, we’re almost out of dishwasher tablets.
It’s all getting very close and VERY real. Just time to enjoy some local sunshine before chasing it across Europe. It’s a good job Evie has learnt to wave!
